With tomorrow's show in Aschersleben's traditional venue "Grauer Hof", the Concert-Year 2005 comes to an end for us. Looking back, this ending year has been a time of great experience with the release of our first full-length album "Damokles", the fantastic response we got from fans and magazines all over the world and of course our first european touring with Vital Remains. And perspectives to 2006 look really more than promising...
The booking of upcoming shows for next year has started and the first confirmed dates can be checked at our concerts-section...

So here we go again... To satisfy those amongst you who desire to share their opinions and thoughts with others, an adequate platform has been established. The new board is currently still sort of "under construction", nevertheless it works properly - so don't be shy! [ » to the board]

Back from our first european tour... Keeping the memories from two extremely exiting, busy and instructive weeks where we could gather lots of precious experiences and experienced amazing moments. We directly came into contact with the fans every night, and thus we won new and interesting aquaintances abroad.



The sensational atmosphere amongst musicians and crew on the bus is worth a special mentioning - thanks brothers!!













So within the next few days, we will release pictures from the tour to show you some of the impressions we gathered during this tour...

Meanwhile the first gigs in Germany have been confirmed - just check the concerts-section!

As it has already been anounced in several Interviews, HIDDEN IN THE FOG will be reinforced by two session-musicians on their upcoming european tour, namely Alexander F. J. Creuzfeld (left) and Lothargie, who both are involved within the band PSYKRA.




They will be replacing Gorbag and Draug C., who unfortunately both won't be able to do this tour due to personal and professional commitments abroad.



It is an extraordinary pleasure for us to be able to work with such dedicated and talented musicians and we're looking forward to some ass-kicking live-ceremonies on our upcoming european assault! » Concerts...

There we go... As the studiowork on the upcoming album has come to an end after a period of almost exactly six months, it is now time to reveal the title and tracklist of the record...

The album will be entitled DAMOKLES. It includes 8 tracks with a total duration of slightly more than one hour.

22.03.05: Recordings finished......
It’s done: all recordings for the upcoming album are finally finished! The extremely hard work during the last weeks and months has really payed off and we feel extremely proud about how the recordings turned out to be!
This Album is really bound to make a HUGE impact! We have been busy with studio-work since December last year, but it was worth every single sleepless night! The mere degree of complexity combined with the atmospheric density of this record is nothing but overwhelming even to us... We will unveil the album-title and the tracklist on our website within the next days, so watch out!

20.12.04: Recordings started...
On the 20th of December, we entered the Catacomb Studios to start off the recording session for our upcoming album. The Drum recordings are supposed to take about 12-14 days... All remaining instruments, vocals etc. are supposed to be tracked within the following weeks until the beginning of february '05... We'll try to keep you updated on the recording process!

21.09.04: live-break until album-release...

Because of the intense working process on the forthcoming album HITF will not perform any live-shows until the release of the album. In Spring 2005 new regular gigs will take place with an all-new live-set!

20.07.04: recording date for the forthcoming album is set...
The structure of the forthcoming album is getting more and more evident. The record will most probably contain 8 Songs with a duration of approximately 60 minutes. Most of the songs are already arranged and show an even wider spectrum of harmonic and rhythmic patterns. The current task is to work out in detail the vocal-arrangements, for the vocal performance will be granted much more room than ever before...
The recordings will start at the end of the year, so there's enough time to work out the songs in the most detailed possible way and to release a killer-album in early 2005 - so watch out!!!

05.04.04: HIDDEN IN THE FOG sign to TWILIGHT!

HIDDEN IN THE FOG have signed a contract with the german company twilight-Vertrieb GbR. The CD "Abstract Maelstrom Paragon" will be released worldwide via TWILIGHT on the 3rd of May! The completely new-composed Debut-Album is scheduled for next winter - watch out!!!

HIDDEN IN THE FOG have been booked to perform on the Open-Air Stage for the 8th "Sachsen-Anhalt-Tag" in Aschersleben on the 2nd of July.

We have recently dissolved from our Drummer Muth! Due to his Studies, he could no longer guarantee his full dedication into the band-related stuffs as rehearsing and so on... Despite this, we thank him for 5 Years of musical relationship as well as the first 2 Years, when we used to do our rehearsals (that where not silent at all, actually...) at his home. The place on the drums has now been taken by our former Keyboarder Botis, which means that we are now on the search for a dedicated and able Keymaster from the region of Saxony-Anhalt. People with interest should send a mail!

We have canceled our Gig on the Timpen-Festival! Details within the next days...

HIDDEN IN THE FOG will play on 25th of August on the Timpen-Festival in Rauderfehn in northern Germany (for Details view the gigs-section). Some more concerts then the listed ones are planned, but nothing is confirmed yet...
